Laser Hair Removal Systems

There are 4 types of laser systems used in purpose of laser hair removal. These are Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, Diode ve Ruby Laser systems. Ruby laser system is rarely used in our country and the world. Other systems must be selected and applied according to patient’s skin and hair type.

Ruby lasers have 694nm, Alexandrite lasers have 770nm, Nd:YAG lasers have 1064nm, Diode lasers have 800nm of wavelengths approximately. There is another hair removal method which is not a laser system, but used under that name, IPL hair removal methods. IPL methods’ results are not exactly permanent and not advised by FDA or prestigious doctors.

Laser Hair Removal treatment is not a simple care or beauty treatment and must be applied by competent specialists.
